JVC has announced the addition of two home theater projectors to their lineup.
The all new entry-level and mid-tier JVC DLA-RS1200 and DLA-RS2200 will be joining their roster, with nearly every component redesigned from scratch, including the light engine, lens, circuit boards and chassis, all while reducing its footprint by 35% over previous chassis designs.
The RS1200 and RS2200 will offer up to 2,000 and 2,300 lumens respectively from JVC’s proprietary Blu-Escent laser light source, while achieving 40,000:1 and 80,000:1 native contrast ratios. A newly designed large-aperture (80mm, 11 groups, 15 element) 4K compatible lens delivers full native 4K D-ILA resolution to every corner of the screen.
Both models continue to support HDR formats, including HDR10 (with Frame Adapt HDR Gen2), HDR10+ with dynamic metadata compatibility and HLG. The laser light source adopts newly tuned algorithms to boost contrast performance and feature DCI-P3 color gamut support (RS2200 only).
These projectors are slated to be available in November 2024. Be sure to get on our pre-order list to ensure you get yours as soon as possible!
